Ren Li is the Associate Professor at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Huazhong University of Science and Technology.She focuses on applied superconductivity in power system,such as superconducting magnetic energy storage system(SMES),superconducting reactor,superconducting cable,superconducting transformer,superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL)and superconducting magent.She has presided or participated projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China,National High Technology Research and Development Program of China(863program),National Basic Research Program of China-973 Program,Specialized Research Fund for ITER,State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Company Limited.She published about 24 papers on the applied superconductivity,and 12 papers were indexed by SCI.Recipient of the second prize of Hubei province natural science in 2008.
